Panel Discussion: Antisemitism, Right-Wing Culture Wars & Aggrieved Masculinities in Gaming

How do antisemitism and forms of masculinity manifest themselves in digital gaming spaces? In our panel discussion, two experts will share insights from their research and explore common ground:

  • Veronika Kracher examines how aggrieved masculinities and right-wing culture wars in gaming communities are linked to antifeminism, online radicalization, and social tensions, particularly in the context of the incel subculture.
  • Constantin Winkler conducts research on antisemitism and radicalization in digital gaming communities.

A moderator will introduce the program and then lead the panel discussion, during which the guests will jointly address questions from research, practice, and the audience.

The venue is accessible via a permanent wheelchair ramp through the courtyard. Access to the accessible restroom is also via the courtyard. It is located diagonally across from the accessible entrance. Unfortunately, it is not freely accessible. You can get the key at the bar.
